White River TSA has been involved in many aspects of the high school and has frequently hosted actives for the students. These activities have included things such as a dodge ball tournament and battle of the bands competition. It has provided entertaining activities that engaged the students and makes them feel as if they were a part of the club. Along with activities our TSA chapter has provided the student body with unique t-shirts for the basketball season. The chapter designed, created and sold the shirts to increase the amount of school spirit at the sporting events. The advisor Bob Brooks has created a relaxed atmosphere making all 27 members feel comfortable. This year he is elated to be able to take 18 chapter members to attend the TSA National completion. At White River High School the TSA chapter is more than just another club, it is a way for the entire student body to experience the technology around them in their everyday lives.
The geospatial technology industry is defined as an information technology field of practice that retrieves, manages, interprets, integrates displays, analyzes, or otherwise uses data focusing on the geographic, temporal, and spatial context.
Design Brief:

INFORMATION ABOUT GEOSPATIAL
The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is a government agency that assists the U.S. Department of Defense. One responsibility of NGA is imagery and mapping of a region, which helped in many battles.
One of the most high tech uses of Geospatial Technology is in the military’s “Land Warrior” system. The system is built around a M-16/M-4 carbine and can be used to get real time data to locate enemies or allies. Also the system provides a camera and rangefinder that provides the solider with range and direction. Finally the helmet has a display that lets the solider know when there are enemies nearby.
Domestic
The biggest domestic use is now found on a website known as Google Earth. This website allows users to view any location in the United States and Europe. In the future geospatial technology may be used to navigate cars to their destination.
