two sessions per day. Collins serves students in grades nine through twelve
(ages 14-21). The program offers flexible schedules allowing students to
hold jobs, parent their child, or to pursue other goals. Students at Collins
High School have the opportunity to take a variety of vocational classes
as well as a full array of English, History, Math and Science courses. Students
at Collins High School graduate with an official high school diploma, having
met credit requirements of Washington State. The goal of Collins High School
is to meet students' unique and varying needs, assisting them in meeting
graduation requirements as well as offering extensive career guidance and
planning opportunities. Class Times Morning 8:30 - 11:30 Structure Collins High School is structured and staffed in a manner designed to help
every student reach maximum success. Eash of our blocks throughout the year
require students to earn three or more .5 credits. Attendance As in any situation where success is the goal, good work habits and regular attendance are required. Potentially, two school days maybe missed in an eight week block. Beyond the two days, other absences will be made up, or a student's credit earning will be affected. Grading Collins High School grading policy is based on achievement, and the focus is for you to become proficient in the subject area that you are learning. As a result, you must achieve at least 70% accuracy in order to pass, or continue working in that area until you have mastered that subject. » SAT test Information and Registration Immunization Requirements to Enter School Authorization for Administration of Medication at School
