Class Times

Morning 8:30 - 11:30
Afternoon 12:00 - 3:00

Structure

Collins High School is structured and staffed in a manner designed to help every student reach maximum success. Eash of our blocks throughout the year require students to earn three or more .5 credits.
two - .5 general education credits
one - .5 vocational education credit

Attendance

As in any situation where success is the goal, good work habits and regular attendance are required. Potentially, two school days maybe missed in an eight week block. Beyond the two days, other absences will be made up, or a student's credit earning will be affected.

Grading

Collins High School grading policy is based on achievement, and the focus is for you to become proficient in the subject area that you are learning. As a result, you must achieve at least 70% accuracy in order to pass, or continue working in that area until you have mastered that subject.
