here White River we know that ensuring high levels of learning for each student extends far beyond the classroom we have incredibly talented students and for many of them their experiences Athletics theater clubs and activities shape their character fuel their passions and prepare them for Life Beyond High School research continues to affirm what we see each day students involved in these programs have better attendance higher grades and a stronger sense of belonging students involved in extracurriculars develop the discipline responsibility and time management skills that help them succeed academically their involvement Fosters perseverance accountability and a growth mindset that leads to better performance in the classroom whether it's on the field in the band room or on stage our students learn the value of hard work collaboration and effective communication these skills are essential not only for school Success but for lifelong achievement in any career or programs provide students with meaningful relationship a sense of purpose and a connection to something bigger than themselves from Buckley Washington Glacier middle school students who are supported by their school Community are more engaged and motivated to excel extracurricular activities provide an outlet for stress build the resilience and Foster emotional well-being whether through the Arts Athletics or leadership opportunities students develop self-confidence problem solving abilities and a sense of Personal Achievement beyond the individual benefits these activities also bring our community together as a constant reminder of our shared commitment to our young people somebody for all of those current and future Grizzlies and hornets we have a message for you get involved show your talents put yourself out there and try something new in fact try many things and for all those who continue to show up for the kids in this community we want to share a message of thanks none of these opportunities would be possible without you our White River Community the music the theater Athletics clubs and activities that enrich our students lives are made possible because of the incredible support we receive from this community and the celebrations of our students is hard work your investment in these programs is an investment in their future and we are so grateful thank you White River for your ongoing support the moment you show up you're not just supporting a performance our game you're helping our students see their potential and believe in themselves your support fuels countless dreams and makes these experience possible together we're not just nurturing Talent we're shaping the future of White River
