Special Dietary Needs

The USDA Child Nutrition Programs support access to healthy meals to all children, including children with disabilities who have special dietary needs.

 

If your student is participating in our meal programs and would like to request a special dietary accommodation, please complete A Request for Special Dietary Accommodations form. 

 

Requests for meal modification must be signed by a State-recognized medical authority, or a licensed health care professional authorized to write medical prescriptions in Washington.  Once complete, please return the form to the Child Nutrition department.  Once returned, the form will be reviewed with the family before any adjustments are made in the published menu to meet a special dietary need.
