Special Education
As White River School District develops our plan to support our families and community during this exceptionally challenging time, we want to assure you that the needs of exceptional learners are being taken into consideration. The Federal Government and the State of Washington are continuing to develop guidance for the provision of special education services during school closures and changes to education models as a result of COVID-19. We are receiving more information each day and will be monitoring their progress carefully.
Your student’s individual needs are very important to the our team. As our plan becomes more clear regarding the provision of special education services, we want you to know that we will be reaching out to you as soon as possible to discuss specifics.
Please do not hesitate to contact your school principal with any questions or concerns. As ever, we are appreciative of our White River community and stand with you in support of your children during this very challenging time.
