- Oversees Technology Department and Instructional Technology Integration
- Manages technology budget, resources, purchase, and replacement cycles
Technology Lead and Network Administrator

- Supervises Technology Center day-to-day operations
- Collaborates with technology staff, district personnel, and vendors to meet end-user needs
- Coordinates technology-related projects to ensure the availability of technology resources
- Responds to in-house and end-user inquiries to provide information regarding various areas of technology for problem resolution, new technologies and related matters
- Follows through on outstanding requests, ensuring timely resolution
- Provides technical support via telephone, email and remote assistance
- Maintains phone systems
- Manages district resources to design, implement and maintain new and existing network-based technologies
- Works with contractors to maintain district infrastructure, including fiber lines, wireless APS, connection between buildings and district network, and MDF rooms
- Engages vendors and service providers to support and improve district systems or services
- Establishes network by evaluating network performance issues, including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls, and web filtering
Systems Administrator
- Maintains backups of critical infrastructure in the environment to provide continuity for the district
- Installs and configures software and hardware for district devices
- Upgrades systems with latest patches and versions to ensure security and feature availability
- Builds an internal technical documentation, manuals and information technology (IT) policies
- Provides technical troubleshooting for escalated tickets
- Manages automated systems and account management
- Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
- Works with vendors to maintain service level agreements (SLA) and collaborate on projects
- Provides technical support via telephone, email and remote assistance
Customer Support Specialists

- Maintains and troubleshoots computer equipment and related software and coordinates repair with district personnel
- Installs new and updated hardware and/or software on individual machines
- Assists staff with laptop or departmental computing questions and/or problems
- Provides technical support via telephone, email and remote assistance
Student Data and Security Manager

- Maintains student data base, user roles and security, staff support and training, State and Federal reporting, and data export and import manager
- Develops non-standard reports as requested by Administration and school sites
- Develops protocols and procedures, training materials, and presentations for training of staff.

- Facilitates large-group, small group, team, and 1:1 professional development sessions to help educators
- Locates and evaluates technology tools in relation to curricular needs
- Learns new technology tools and creates help tutorial materials for teaching and learning
- Models the use of existing tools in separately and together for innovative purposes
- Collaborates with technology staff, executive director, and vendors (on occasion) to meet end-user needs
- Harnesses the power of technology to allow all students to participate actively for the purpose of higher levels of learning
