2025-2026 Calendar
3/19/26 Important Calendar Update:
The last day of school is Monday, June 15th. There will be no late start, and it is an early release day.
OSPI has granted our request for an emergency waiver under RCW 28A.150.290 and WAC 392-192, waiving one school day due to severe flooding and widespread road closures in December.
March 13th was converted to a student attendance day instead of the previously planned Waiver Day, and we will extend the school year, with the last day on Monday, June 15th, and an early release that day with no late start.

The March 13, 2026 Professional Development Day will now be a regular attendance day for students.

As you are aware, we have a few school days to make up following the December school closures caused by flooding and power outages. Usually, we extend the school year by adding those days at the end, and we are currently working with the state on adjusting our June calendar.
At the same time, we are making changes within the school year wherever we can. As a result, our Professional Development Day on March 13, 2026 will now be a regular attendance day for students.
We understand that calendar changes can affect family schedules, childcare, and work commitments. We truly appreciate your partnership and understanding as we work through these adjustments. We will share the final calendar details as soon as we get confirmation from the state.
2026-2027 Calendar
The 2026-2027 Calendar was approved at the November 12, 2025, Regular Board meeting of the White River School District Board of Directors. Please note that it is subject to change.
